The SP-LR self-priming liquid ring pumps are specially designed for pumping liquids with a high air or gas content. An excellent example of this are CIP-Return applications in the food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical industry. All liquid touching parts are compliant with relevant standards. The open impellers are provided with pressure relief holes, which ensure optimal cleaning of the shaft seal and seal chamber. The impeller is 'dry' mounted to the shaft by means of O-rings. Available with several mechanical seal types and materials, many O-ring materials, and surface roughness < 0.8 micron (optional < 0.5 micron).
